How Ticketimo Finds and Checks Events

Ticketimo focuses on practical facts people need before making a plan: the event name, date, time, venue, city, artist, ticket link and any price or availability information we can confirm.

Where event details come from

We use information published by ticket companies, event organisers, artists and venues, together with corrections sent to us by people connected with an event. We focus on the practical details you need to make a plan rather than copying somebody else’s article or description.

Keeping details current

Events can move, sell out, change venue or be cancelled. Ticketimo checks the places where the event was announced and updates the page when newer information appears. Because last-minute changes are possible, check the ticket or venue page once more before you travel.

Verification and update workflow

1. Collect: an event enters Ticketimo from a ticketing, organiser, artist, venue or other direct event source.
2. Normalize: dates, city, venue, artist, status and ticket fields are converted into one consistent Ticketimo record.
3. Publish: a public event URL is created only when the record is valid enough to be useful.
4. Refresh: current events are checked again as provider data changes.
5. Preserve: once a verified event URL is public, the historical page remains available even after the event date passes.

Ticketimo does not invent a price, organiser, end time or venue detail just to fill an empty field. If a reliable source does not provide a fact, the page should say less rather than guess.

Images

Event images are shown when they are supplied for that event or otherwise permitted for use. Ticketimo keeps the images used by the site on its own server so event cards and shared links stay fast and consistent.

Corrections

If you represent an artist, venue or organiser and see something that needs changing, send us the Ticketimo link and the artist, venue, organiser or ticket page that shows the correct information. We review corrections against the most direct source available and update factual fields when the newer evidence is clear.

Editorial principle

Ticketimo is designed for discovery, comparison and planning. We prefer concise, source-backed event facts and useful local context over copied promotional descriptions. Paid visibility, where offered, is labelled and does not determine ordinary event inclusion.

Corrections and accountability

Corrections are reviewed against the most direct recent evidence available. A correction can change the factual record, but it does not erase a verified historical event URL merely because the event has ended.
